What we’re looking for
There is a unique thrill in hunting for new business when you are backed by a globally recognized, beloved brand like SurveyMonkey. Our products are already trusted by leaders across virtually every industry, meaning when you reach out, the trust is already there, and prospects know our name. Your mission is to show them what they don't know. We’re seeking an Account Executive to manage the full-cycle sales process for SurveyMonkey’s enterprise suite, focusing on new logo acquisition via outbound pipeline generation and upselling existing self-service SurveyMonkey users into Enterprise opportunities. You will identify unique mission-driven needs and build ROI-based business cases for diverse stakeholders, while leveraging AI and various Sales platforms to maintain a disciplined pipeline from initial prospecting through to close.
What you’ll be working on
Signal-Driven Pipeline Generation: Generate the vast majority of your pipeline through aggressive outbound prospecting into your assigned territory. You won't be flying blind; you will leverage a wealth of high-intent signal data and tools like ZoomInfo, GTM Workspaces, internal GPT tools, Gemini, and Claude to scale your outreach intelligently.
Strategic Territory Penetration & Multi-Threading: Take true ownership of a data-rich territory loaded with untapped potential. You will systematically map out target accounts and multi-thread across different departments (such as Marketing, HR, and IT) to build consensus, execute competitive displacement plays, and drive multi-product adoption.
Rigorous Iteration & Conversion: You will piece together data insights and technology to land highly effective messages, applying the rigor and discipline to constantly A/B test, adapt, and refine your approach to maximize conversion rates.
High-Velocity Deal Execution: Command a fast-paced, full-cycle sales motion. You will confidently transition from cold prospecting to consultative pitching and closing, while efficiently capitalizing on inbound and product-led growth (PLG) signals as the cherry on top of your outbound efforts.
Agile Methodology & Pipeline Management: Apply the Sandler selling methodology and MEDDPICC framework efficiently to qualify hard, highlight competitive differentiators, and drive urgency. You will utilize Salesforce and Gong to track a high volume of active deals and maintain razor-sharp forecasting without slowing down your deal cycles.
We’d love to hear from people with
The Hunter's Mentality: A proven track record of thriving in an outbound-heavy role. You are entirely comfortable knowing that your success relies on your ability to generate pipeline via proactive hustle, cold calling, email, and LinkedIn.
Territory & Stakeholder Management: Experience systematically penetrating a defined territory and multi-threading through mid-sized organizational structures. You know how to identify economic buyers, build champions across multiple departments, and create consensus to get deals done quickly.
Signal-to-Message Translation: You excel at connecting the dots. You know how to synthesize intent data and leverage technology to craft scalable messaging that lands, and you possess the discipline to continuously iterate on your outreach to improve metrics.
High-Velocity B2B Experience: 2+ years of fast-paced, full-cycle sales experience. You know how to create urgency, run "rip and replace" sales cycles against entrenched competitors, and balance quick transactional wins with focused outbound prospecting to consistently crush quota.
Multi-Product Proficiency: A history of successfully cross-selling or positioning a multi-product portfolio, demonstrating the active listening skills required to map specific products to specific buyer pains.
Industry & Persona Expertise (Bonus): While not strictly required, a background in Market Research or direct experience selling into HR or Healthcare organizations is a massive plus that will bring immediate, unique value to our current team.
